Trained at Harvard and MIT as a physician and neuroscientist, Tony Nader is now dedicated to the spread of enlightenment and fulfilment through the practice of Transcendental Meditation.
“You just let yourself grow within yourself, remove your stresses and strain, and your nature is to be perfect, your nature is to be happy, your nature is to be healthy.” – Dr Tony Nader
After growing up during a civil war in Lebanon, Tony Nader found Transcendental Meditation as a pre-med student and through it was able to overcome the challenges and trauma of war.
After obtaining his Ph.D. in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT and completing his fellowship in Neurology at Harvard, Dr. Nader went on a trip to India with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who brought the Transcendental Meditation movement to the West, and dedicated himself to research on ancient and modern techniques for self-development.
In this livestream, In Conversation event, Dr Nader will present a simple underlying paradigm that unifies mind, body and environment into pure consciousness and offers guidance on how to develop it to enjoy the full potential of joy, happiness and conflict resolution.
A calm mind lowers anxiety by taking the body out of fight-or-flight mode. Dr. Nader will argue that by strengthening our collective consciousness, we can build stronger and more resilient communities and with that create a better, safer world and society.
