If In Doubt, Wash Your Hair – How To Lead Your Most Doubt Free Life

Life Lessons From Anya Hindmarch

“A treasure trove of inspiring, down-to-earth and practical advice shared with humour and honesty.” – Alexandra Shulman

‘Everyone has self-doubt, even people at the top of their game. Everyone is still sometimes thinking: Could I? Should I? Self-doubt is completely normal. It is also of limited value. It doesn’t really get you anywhere.’ – Anya Hindmarch

Fashion designer Anya Hindmarch founded her first business as a teenager in 1987 and went onto to become a globally renowned businesswoman and mother of five. She joins us to share what she has learned during her busy and eclectic life, what she still worries about, and what advice she has received along the way.

From practical tips and quick fixes, to profound observations about confidence and creativity, she will show you how to live a little better – and why sometimes, the answer can be as simple as washing your hair.

Praise for Anya Hindmarch’s If In Doubt, Wash Your Hair:

‘Anya is a genius. I’ve been waiting for this book all my life and everyone needs to read it’ – Claudia Winkleman

‘It sounds like a fairy tale until you realise what an extraordinary human being Anya is, and how it is only through sheer graft that she somehow makes it all work. She writes the golden rules for every woman who believes, quite rightly, she can have it all. All of this would be hollow if Anya weren’t exactly as she comes across in this book. This is no Instagram gloss, this is how she really is. Essential reading for the post pandemic entrepreneur. The ultimate guide to being both Successful AND Nice. Hail the roaringly kind 20s.’ – Christa D’Souza

‘This book feels like your best friend telling you it’s all going to be ok’ – Fearne Cotton

‘I loved this book — it’s really unusual, surprising and inspiring.’ — Viv Groskop, author of How to Own the Room

‘Warm, friendly, and packed to the rafters with excellent advice – I loved it.’ India Knight
