Pencils at the ready! Rob Biddulph joins us for a special Draw with Rob class to share how you can create a story with just some paper, a pencil, and a big imagination.
When we first went into lockdown last year, many of us found ourselves at home with a lot more spare time. In order to help parents and keep people cheery, illustrator Rob Biddulph started sharing draw-along videos.
Since then, over 4 million people have watched his Draw with Rob tutorials and in May 2020, he even broke the Guinness World Record for the largest online art class with 45,611 participants from all over the globe.
Rob’s new book, Draw with Rob: Build a Story, is a spectacular art activity book which will help you learn to draw your favourite storybook characters – from unicorns to dragons and monsters to knights.
In this online event, Rob will run a live draw-along session and answer your questions.
Whether you’re a budding artiste or don’t know the first thing about drawing, this fun event is the perfect opportunity to get creative and give it a go.
Inkspots is a new series of free, weekly livestream events connecting young minds with their favourite authors and storytellers. Join live on Saturday mornings or watch a replay at your leisure.
This event is held in partnership with the National Literacy Trust, an independent charity working with schools and communities to give disadvantaged children the literacy skills to succeed in life. You can find out more about their work, access their resources and donate here.
