If you are a parent worried about your child’s mental health and the future they face in our crisis-ridden age, psychotherapist Louis Weinstock is here to help.

It’s not your child’s fault they are struggling. It’s the world we live in. We need to show our children we can handle uncomfortable truths so that they can too.

The causes of mental health problems are complex, but we don’t focus anywhere near enough on the ways in which this world affects our children’s minds. We pathologize children’s normal reactions to a mad world, and make children feel like they are broken.

Psychotherapist Louis Weinstock believes we need a radical shift in our perspective. In this livestream event, he will inspire and guide parents and carers to help children reach their highest potential. He will share tools to support your children through life’s biggest challenges and offer new ways to talk about difficult global issues and the future we face.

He says: “I believe our children are canaries in the coalmine. Because they haven’t yet built up strong psychological defences, they are more sensitive than grown-ups to the social pressures and toxic values of the world around them. From this perspective, the rise in psychological distress among our children warns us of impending danger and beckons us to a more beautiful world.”

Praise for Louis Weinstock:

“Who is Louis Weinstock? He is an innovative psychotherapist and social entrepreneur who other psychotherapists trust. I have referred numerous families to Louis because he is especially talented in working with children and young people. I know of no one better qualified to know what young people are facing today.” – Philippa Perry

“Louis cares deeply about children and the world they are growing up in. He provides a brilliant, nurturing, much-needed voice to children and anyone who cares about children.” – Jessie Ware
