At Home With Rory Bremner

In Conversation with Matthew Stadlen

From Spitting Image to Bremner, Bird and Fortune, the satirist is beloved for his ability to skewer the great and good. Now Matthew Stadlen invites him to turn his wit to the world of 2020.

Famed for his ability to pop the pretentions of the powerful, expose the absurdity of political spin, and make the high drama of global affairs utterly hilarious, Rory Bremner has long been a national icon, admired and respected across the political spectrum for his acutely observed comedy and singular satirical intelligence.

From Thatcher’s Britain to New Labour, the coalition to the Scottish referendum, Rory Bremner has made a mockery of some of the most important events and people in modern history. In this free livestream, LBC presenter Matthew Stadlen invites him to turn his eye to the age of Trump and Brexit.

In recent years it has become a familiar refrain to complain that the headlines are too awful and too absurd for satire. Rory Bremner joins us to put that notion to the test.

This event takes place at 6:30 British Summer Time.
