Has identity politics failed one particular identity? It is David Baddiel’s contention that one type of prejudice has been left out of the fight against homophobia, disablism, transphobia, and racism.

In this livestream event, he will follow the anti-Semitism he finds in his Twitter feed to the stage, through the media and into politics as he argues that those who think of themselves as on the right side of history have often ignored the history of anti-Semitism.

In conversation with Bari Weiss, the award-winning former New York Times journalist whose book How To Fight Anti-Semitism was acclaimed as an urgent wake-up call to expose and defeat this ancient hatred, David will outline why and how, in a time of intensely heightened awareness of minorities and the discriminations they face, Jews don’t count as a real minority. And, most important of all, he and Bari will explore what we can all do to fight back against the rising tide of hate and affirm liberal values in this uncertain moment.
