The two-time Oscar winning actor and advocate joins us to share stories from her incredible life in Hollywood and beyond.

‘I may have wanted to become an actor so fervently because I could use acting to fill out the persona of someone confident in their abilities, someone I desperately wanted to be like in real life.’ – Geena Davis

At the age of three Geena Davis announced to her parents she was going to be an actor.  With a slew of iconic film and television roles now under her belt, as well as numerous awards including two Oscars, she has surpassed her childhood dreams in ways she never could have imagined.

But the path to empowerment never runs smoothly, particularly for someone who remains, at heart, the small-town kid she always was. In this live, on-stage event, Geena will look back at her career playing everything from a soap star in her underwear to a housewife-turned-road warrior, a baseball phenomenon, an amnesiac assassin, the mother of a rodent, the president of the United States, and more.

And, at a time when women’s rights and autonomy are being challenged around the world, she will explore her ground-breaking work advocating for better representation of female characters on screen.

Don’t miss this surprising and touching account of one woman’s journey to fight for herself and ultimately live a bolder, freer, more authentic life.
