A Night In with Claudia Roden

In this livestream event presented in partnership with Fane, culinary pioneer Claudia Roden joins us with a love letter to the Mediterranean and its diverse, vibrant food.

Widely credited with revolutionising Western attitudes to Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food, Claudia Roden joins us to share memories of travels and stories, along with the food she loves and cooks for friends and family.

Detailing the many and varied flavours, new discoveries and classic dishes she has revisited again and made her own, Claudia will capture the special charm and spirit of the region: ‘The smell of garlic sizzling with crushed coriander takes me back to the Egypt of my childhood. The aroma of saffron and orange zest mingled with aniseed and garlic triggers memories of the French Riviera.’

She’ll also explore the fuss-free approach to cooking that nowadays Claudia finds herself drawn to – putting taste first with simple healthy ingredients, easy methods and relaxed eating.

Don’t miss the opportunity to spend an evening with one of the world’s most influential food writers, as she celebrates and shares the flavours she has been so instrumental in bringing to the UK.

Presented in partnership with Fane.
